Tile flooring?

I only ever clean my coop once a year. Mine is dirt floor (with wood chips). I just pressure wash the tin walls to knock down spider webs and dirt dauber nests. I clean it during the dry part of summer so it dries out within a day or so.

I was not planning on mopping daily, but hosing out every so often. I just have loads of leftover tile and thought I could use it.
What kind of tile?
What kind of coop floor?

Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.

It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

it should never be necessary to wet-clean a chicken coop.
Ditto Dat^^^

I am in Canada, (cold dry climate) and I had mismatched tiles so I did it and I LOVE it.
(Oops, accidentally posted too soon)

In summer I pour a little water and drop or two of dish-soap/vinegar (often I just keep an old jug with water+dish-soap+vinegar already mixed in the coop) onto the floor and using an old broom I scrub the floor clean. I toss a little dry pine shavings on top, swirl them to absorb the water and sweep them into the compost bucket.

I have a spotless floor, no muck or poo. Then toss some clean bedding on top.

I do it once a week, there is never a bad smell in my coop, and I require almost no ventilation as a result.

In winter I put on a false floor of insulation because I have an elevated coop and it gets down to -40F so it is more of a sweep clean with a little straw to keep the bare feet happy.

Oh, and you don't have to mop it, it is just a non-absorbant floor it sweeps very clean, nicer than the area I have vinyl flooring. For vinyl i had to use a lot of adhesive and had to do it twice because they came up. Vinyl is not made to be laid on a floor that gets cold so the adhesive they normally use does not work here. I had to use construction adhesive and that is not made to brush on, I had to squeeze it out of the tube and trowel it on, which was a lot more work than laying ceramic.
