Hi everyone,

so yesterday we got two more chickens. both are plymouth rock bantams and one is frizzled.

Today i had the smaller of the two (not frizzled, born in october) on our lawn and as she was walking around i noticed her tail seemed to tilt to the left. Is this just because her feathers are just like that or is there something else wrong? Also, we are having some trouble integrating our new chickens. Today we brought one into the coop and set her down while staying close by. She didnt really seem to notice and just scratched around a bit. Then when i went to pick her up she ran away right into our silkie Ruby. They really went at it and started fighting under our rabbit hutch. My sister was able to grab the new girl and i scolded Ruby. Any tips on how to minimize the fighting??? Also, right now they are in a cage in the run with the others and they didnt go through a quarintine period (mainly because i didnt know it was necessary and im new to this

). Will the other hens be OK even though i skipped a quarintine?

Thanks!!

Well its too late know to quarantine. So worm your flock.
Good Luck!

Edit* On second thought if you want just whatch your flock really closely. I have seen birds with tiled tails im sure its nothing wrong ! Enjoy your new birds :)
