bill I have one of those black cochens. Mine is bantie, and is actually a tiny bit off black because it was mixed with gray silky, but she looks all cochen.

The bird in that photo was about 3 years old. She was from a long line of pure bred Black Cochin Bantams & one of my show birds

I love their tushies. My son used to have a partridge bantam and he used to say it looked like she was wearing a skirt.

It only matters if you live on the international date line when it suddenly becomes tomorrow an hour ahead of time
