Time limit for poop before composting

Hi, I have been putting the poop in a container, it is mounting up and I need to compost it. Will it compost properly if it is really old, like from the present to a year's worth? I don't know much about anaerobic vs aerobic...

It will compost just fine. Just mix it into your compost, and add water if not much rain in your area, to get the show on the road.
