Hi
I am thinking of getting some chickens and wanted to know what time the birds will need to be let out in the morning, I am going to be keeping them at my allotment and need to knoe when I would need to get down there?

Mine get off the roost and start stirring at day light.

I see when they get off the roost and on the ground and start eating before I let mine into their run.

I plan on feeding and watering mine before leaving for work (or having my 13 y/o son do it

This morning was the first morning that mine got me up. They started raising a ruckus at about 7:45am. Since I have close neighbors that means no sleeping in till Oct/Nov.

Mine are let out at daylight, at the moment here in Sunny Belize, well actually it's raining as we speak/type, it's about 5.30 in the morning when day breaks, good thing I like early mornings.
