Time to get with it.

OK, Christmas is past and New Years has come and gone. Time to stop dithering and get with it. Today I ordered 68 chicks from McMurray (mostly White Leghorns) for delivery in the January 31 time frame and a like number of ISA brown pullet chicks from Townline to come in around Valentine's Day. Also have some White Midget turkey eggs on order from Steve at S&S. I'll also be hatching some of our own turkeys and chicks as well. Got to have something to sell at the swaps!

So, what do you folks have on order and from where and when?

I am waiting until after the poultry show on the 8th of this month before ordering anymore eggs or chicks. Cus I have this feeling I just may end up bringing home some cuties from the sale there.

Do they have a time or place to "buy" chicks there at the farm show????? I went last year hoping to buy something and couldn't find anyone or anywhere to "buy" anything just looked at the gorgeous birds showing!!! I will be going again this year, hoping again to come home with something beautiful!
