Time to give up?

Good stuff here. So far we have abandoned the run, which allowed snakes to access coop too. Just letting the girls out here and there so they can access the laying boxes. The one mom and week-old chick are in the brooder filltime. And I bought a snake repellant ( mostly sulfur) to spread outside their space and also the Tractor Supply guy recommended using barn lime ( cheap) to keep the smell of chickens down. So far so good, 48 hours no more snakes.
