I have read in books to let shipping eggs settle for 6, 12, 24 hours. Well what is it? What works best for you? And do I let them sit at room temp. fopr the settling time?

I usually let mine sit for 24 hours at room temp....I think its what ever works best for you....no sooner then 12 hours is what I would do....if their shipped eggs ...if you have gotten them local I would say sooner....

Thanks. I actually purchase most from the east coast and I live in the west coast. So I guess I will let them sit till tomarrow

I've let mine sit as little as five hours or as many as twelve. And I just put them on top of the bator or near it and let them come up to room temp and rest before starting to form all those tiny little chickie body parts. Glad you got the package intact, Christina! That was pretty quick, too, all the way from Georgia!

I think Im going to put them in later tonight. Cant wait to see what I get. You did a awesome job in packing them. That is why they arrived in great condition and maybe the PO was having a good day too lol.
