time ??

It truly varies. There are days when I just do a quick feeding, watering, and I'm done, but also days when I'm spot cleaning the chicken poop, scraping the roosts and raking the runs. Then I would say I spend about an hour or even longer.

I also like to just pull up a chair and watch them, but working full time, I don't get to do that as much as I like. I do always make sure everybody's fine, fed, watered, and I throw them some kind of treat nearly every day.

from washington state glad you joined us!

I spend any where from one hour up to 4 hours depending what all needs to be done. Sometimes I just sit and hang out with the young babies too!
wouldn't have it any other way!

Thanks everyone for your input. I am still doing my resurch on chickens. I just started going back to work 40hrs a week and I have a 14 month old at home as well. I just dont want to bite off more than I can chew, and leave my husband with more than he can handle now the he is Mr. Mom. We also have 2 mini doxies and they are a team of trouble makers. They are inside dogs they cant do stairs so they wont be bothering the chickens they only go out when we bring them.
Thanks again for the input and any more would be great.
