Timed feedings using deer feeder! It’s great!

My husband rigged this small hanging deer feeder to do timed feedings and it’s working out great! I was researching for awhile on how to do self feeding without having to leave food out over night and found this idea that a fellow Texan had sure did do the trick! No feed left out to attract those darn varmints!

I didn't come up with the idea but I did aesthetically improve the look of the contraption so i will take credit for that!

does it fling food all over the place or just drop it? can you control how much they get each day? how expensive is the feeder? trying to find a solution like this for vacations

Looks like the feeder slings the feed into the tube at the bottom and it drops in the tray on the floor.
