I buy Timothy hay for my rabbit and in the bottom of the bag there’s always a bunch of “break offs”. To small for my rabbit. Pros and cons to putting in a dish with water and making a soup out of it for my 2week old Anconas? Just as a treat.

My adult ducks despised Timothy. Not sure why since they eat my lawn just fine. I was trying to supplement grain feed with grass during the dry months. FAIL. If you get your ducks eating it that would be a good deal for you I think. It might translate to them trying more things when you let them out to free range.

I'm trying to find the best thing to use on the coop floor. I use pine shavings for my chickens, as well as for my ducks that are still inside. But, wondering if anyone has any better ideas. 😊 thanks

These are my ducks now...compared to when i got them less than a month ago. The feeder next to them is the same siz as the waterer in the bottom photo. Left is Pip and right is Duckie. Pip is slightly smaller and has been making occasional quacking sounds.
