Tiny black parasites attached to my Seramas faces and ears.

My Seramas have what appears to be tiny black parasites attached to their faces and ears. There is so much of it, their faces appear black. What is it and how do I treat it? They also have leg mites, so I treated them with Ivermectin pour on this morning hoping it might help with the black parasites also.
Open to all and any suggestions. Please help.

Pictures of the face would be helpful. It sounds like mites or stick tight fleas.

Here is a pic of stick tight fleas, which have to be removed with tweezers, and vaseline is sometimes use to smother them.

Thank you Eggcessive. Upon further research online, I discovered they are stick tight fleas. I Just ordered some Adams Flea and Tick Spray on Amazon and will have it on Monday. The article you referred me to was very helpful also.

Thanks Eggsessive, I applied Adams Flea and Tick directly on top of the stick tight fleas and it killed them. They seem to be gone for now.

Sometimes they will die in place and will need to be plucked off.
