Today my Wyandote hen laid a tiny egg. When I found it, it was on the the coop floor and was broken. The white was coming out of the egg and it had a lot of blood on it. The egg was about 1 1/4 inches long. Nice oblong shape. There was a lot of blood. Not spots. Any ideas? My hen is 2 1/2 years old, regular sized chicken and I do not have a Rooster. She is eating well and I have been given all of them vitamins and they have access to oyster shell. They eat layer pellets, small amount of scratch, lots of fruits as I have apple pear trees and apple trees. They also get tomatoes and lettuce.

If it's just an isolated incident, I would just chalk it up to a glitch in the laying factory.
