TINY bugs in coop and ANTS! help please

so we went on vacation to come back and find a opossum had got in the coop and eaten some eggs, but no chickens were harmed, some of the egg yolk was in the coop and I guess attracted black ants and these very tine bugs, what can i put in the coop that wont harm the hens and get rid of the ants and tiny bugs? I had about 200 of these bugs on my shirt after cleaning out the coop. what should i use?

Maybe some animal-grade Diatomacious earth? It usually helps with parasite problems. Completaly safe for chickens (and any other animals!).

I had ants last year & someone on BYC recommend Orange Gaurd - looking at spray bottle -
Kills on contact , may be used around food, humans and pets - kills and repels bugs - including: ants, roaches and fleas. Had to order it from our ACE Hardware - around $25.00 for 128 oz. it did a great job and last along time - this should get me 2 summers worth & I waisted a lot trying to get the sprayer correct last year.

DE has not done much for bugs and ants, at least for me. Try the Orange Guard. I am going to give that a try. I battle with Fire ants and DE did nothing.
