Yup definitely sounds like imprinting. It can be very annoying dealing with an imprinted duckling but so worth it for the bond you will have with them.

I had a turkey poult imprint on me and it sould just like yours so most likely it imprinted.

The duck in my profile pic imprinted on me, her name is Penguin. For the first month she was with me everywhere I went!! She can be a little uh.. feisty because she is not scared of me at all, so if she goes broody she will protec her eggs from me by attacking my hands and feet

Yup. One of them will hop on top of the heating pad and "scream-peep" for me if she notices I'm missing. I started doing a "lost the game show buzzer sound" back at her from the other room when it happened, and she does it less now. Also put them in a room with blackout shades so they don't wake up at dawn and call for me.
