There's a lot of snake species like kingsnakes and milksnakes that eat rattlesnakes on top of pest animals like mice and ratsThanks for the info, it was a snake egg in the end, just didn't get such an excellent look at the type of snake after it was killed and I thought it was a rattler.![]()

I always leave snakes be when I find them. The only dangerous ones where I live are rattlesnakes, and they aren't much of a threat -- they'll leave you be if you leave them be. The only time people get bit around here is when drunk teens are messing with them, or if someone isn't watching where they're going and they step on the snake. Otherwise they'll just rattle to let you know they're there.
