Tiny Egg!!

I have three Buff Orpington hens who are about 2 years old. They have significantly slowed down on egg laying. About 1 egg a day. Today I got a surprise, one tiny egg about 1 inch in diameter. Slightly larger then a green olive, you would put in your martini!! Perfect shell, perfect color, and when I opened it I found a completely well formed egg yolk and egg white. What's up with that. A phenomena!!

it is called a fart egg, it is something that happens every once in a while, nothing to be alarmed with just a thing of nature

LOL, got my first "fart egg" today too, from my Cayuga duck. Cute little thing... I blew it out to save it for a bit. Mine was just egg white... not yolk.
