I love it when pullets lay their first eggs! They're so small and cute

On the top is one of my Faverolles' eggs, who's been laying for about two weeks now. On the bottom is one of my Welsummers' eggs, and she just started laying today!

Cute! The faverolles eggs I hatched this year weren't much bigger than that. I think those girls get off easy in the laying department.

I got the opposite from my leghorn who laid her first today compared to my BSL's who has been laying 2 weeks. They weren't lying when they said leghorns lay large eggs! I just didn't think it would start out large lol.

Not sure. You could probably do some research to find out what she looks the closest too.
