We have a golden phoenix hen that is sitting on eggs and we have 2 in the bator. The problem is her eggs are really tiny and the father was a big black silkie. Will there be some deformities in the chicks since the eggs are so darn tiny?

and i think there will be no problem especially if that's been the *standard* size for that breed, village chicken in my country lay small egg and that egg hatched well and village chicken is real cruel when broody, i won't take any chance to candle my broody hen's egg since that will really draw blood, real strong chicken against weather and disease(exclude AI

finally i draw a conclusion that there will be no problem as long as that's standard size for that breed (esp. the mom).

Yeah but i didn't think it would make it. The mom broke the egg when it had just pipped then started attacking it(like she did with all the other chicks). So i put it in the bator and it sat there with it's foot shaking and some yolk still attached. But in 3 hours he/she was fine
