That's so interesting! I thought only chickens had a pecking order and I expected the new ducklings to run away from, as opposed to straight at, the older ducks! It's definitely a valuable lesson learned on my part.

Every species has a pecking order or some form of hierarchy. Even humans: teenagers in high school, family units, levels of management within a business, levels of leadership/politicians within a society.

She’s probably scared it’s a new place give her a little time but the place you got her from did it have other ducklings if so she might miss them
