Tiny Part of shell missing but membrane still intact...ok to hatch?

If you are only doing a few eggs, you might try a cracked one. You will need the nose of a blood hound. If you are doing a few thousand at a time, toss it. Trying to save one will cost you the whole hatch. If you are doing rare breeds, I say toss it. It could cost you the whole hatch.

I would use it a an experiment. I have seen many people wax over a crack in shipped eggs and hatch chicks from them.

Sorry the PO is rough on the box.

I talked to my PO just today about how rough they seem to be with boxes. I bought a glass bottle and it came completely crushed.
