This is Tiny. Tiny is my little midget silkie that I got from Alan Stanford. I don't know if Tiny is a male or female yet but for now Im going to call Tiny a female just to make things easier. She is really sweet and loves to be cuddled and LOVES sun bathing. I took her out of the brooding room today since it was in the high 80's and had a little photo fun with her. She wanted to lay in my hand but I bursted her bubble and made her pose for me. She is a blue silkie, and her sibling is a lot darker then her, as well as a lot bigger. They are a little over 2 weeks old and doing very well as far as growth and feathering out is concerned. I really love how light colored of a blue Tiny is. She (if she is a she) should make a very hansom bird one day. (I think its a she cause most midget silkies are female for some reason.) Midget silkies are not something you can breed for. They happen ever so often with out warning and I guess you can say they are the runts. They usually dont live as long as normal silkies. I had one in the past (black penny) who lived 8 months. Hopefully Tiny will live longer then that.
