give the chickens food grade dimetrius earth and sprinkle some pepper flakes into their feed

Those are Tapeworm Proglottids.

You need to use Praziquantel. You can find Equimax at TSC.
Dose is 0.033ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10-14 days.

You can find the names of other dewormers containing Praziquantel in the link below along with dosing.

Safeguard (Fenbendazole) and Valbazen (Albendazole) will not treat Tapeworms in poultry.

Neither of those will work.
