Tip for cleaning off spray paint from skin

I got some spray paint to update some aging decor items and to paint 1 liter bottles to use as planters. Got the paint all over my hands and arms. I did not want to use paint remover on my skin, though. I figured I would be running around "decorated" for a few days.

I decided to try some olive oil. It worked really well! Rubbed it into my hands and arms where the paint was, then working it into the paint areas really well. Lightly scraping a bit with fingernails got most of it off. A Dobie Pad got the last stubborn spots. I washed the oil off with dish soap.

I have also used olive oil to break down fresh pine sap.

I used vegetable oil to remove paint. It worked great and costs less than olive oil.
