Tip of her beak came off...(pic included)

I have a chick that has the tip of her top beak chipped off. We just noticed this so I do not yet know if it is hindering her eating or drinking. Is this normal? What causes it? Anything to watch for?

I don't think it is severe enough to hurt anything. She should be fine!
I think the most helpful thing to do for them is to keep the food in the feeder a little "deep" because they have a little more trouble picking up single pieces off of a flat surface....but other than that she'll manage as if nothing was wrong.
