Tips and Tricks to Introducing

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on whether I should introduce my 3 week old duckling to a younger duckling? I will have one in a Brooder and the older one is not under heat anymore. So they would only be out together during playtime. Do you think that is ok?

Is this younger duckling related to the ones that died? If so, I would not introduce it to your other duckling for at least two weeks.

No after this happened my 10 year old devastated. So we picked 3 week old duckling up to surprise her. She knows once it is old enough it will be released in lake next to us. I was thinking of getting another one that is smaller since “George” is bigger and not acclimated to people. George is ok with me but I’m assuming bc I’m with him all day long.

Update... we got George a playmate. The baby is 4 days old today. We are keeping it in a laundry basket in front of the kennel until It gets a little bigger. I wouldn’t want George to hurt the baby.
