Tips for butchering/processing alone??

Because byc is no longer giving me notifications for threads, I didn't realize that people were posting here

Unfortunately, if you miss one notification the system assumes you're no longer interested.

I check all my watched threads once a week or so to pick up anything I've missed.

So how did it go?
Just woke up and a little confused by your question but I'll answer it anyway.

I ended up not getting the Red Rangers I wanted as some guy with a "small" farm bought almost all chicks when they had them.
Some other breeds I wanted for meat were also bought out before I could get them.
I did find out that I might still be able to do meat birds as they're getting chicks next week. I planning on getting enough for just the household so I'll only be getting 3-4 to slip underneath one hen or the co-parents since we got ducklings hatching next week. Keeping the breed a secret though as I want it to be a surprise.

Ah, I was wondering how the slaughtering went.
Got any tips that would work for slow growers?

We won't need any meat for a few months since my dad and older brother just filled our new large chest freezer up with meat to last up close to a whole year.

I've decided to get a few sexed females and some straight run chicks to give to one of our broody hens next week to raise up. Luckily since any males included will be for butchering, I won't have any trouble nor will I be upset about doing it.

Nope.
I don't raise meat birds, I do slaughter older hens and extra cockerels.

For slow-growing cockerels, I would just butcher them when you are ready for them to be gone, no matter what size they are then. It might be when you are tired of waking up to a crowing contest, or when they start pestering the hens too much, or when you are tired of supplying feed when they aren't gaining enough to be worth it, or when the coop seems too crowded and you need to make space, or when one of them attacks someone, or if one gets some kind of injury....

Except for Cornish Cross, I almost ignore size when choosing butchering dates for cockerels (or pullets, or old hens).
