(Not sure if this is the right forum for this) Hello! This is a thread where you can post some random tips or tricks for anything or you can just ask questions....say about those teeny - tiny black spots on the chickens combs.

Anyways I was wonder if anybody had any tips for bathing silkies. I've looked it up and they all use stuff like glycise....however it's spelled...and other stuff like that.

Thank You!

That's what this whole forum is about...with sub-forums for particular areas of interest/inquiry.

The glycerine looks to be something to put an after the bath to enhance shine,
as explained in this thread:

I would encourage you to use the advanced search function to research your questions.

Bathing birds is not fun!

I live above the Artic Circle where the Banana crop is iffy. I find bathing them when it is cold to be a pain. I had a show last weekend and I only bathed one bird for it. I do not want to risk pneumonia.

I bathed a large bird, I would really worry about a silkie. Make sure your wife is at work when you bath birds. She does not need to know what all her blow dryer gets used for..

I meant to go along with the tips but...
Thank you I'll try that!

I'm a lady... but if you were referring to yourself then...
