Tips for hatching peacocks

Hello, this will be my first attempt at incubating eggs. I have a hovabator 1583 and plan on buying a hygrometer to use with it. I am getting three peacock eggs and am told 99* and 55% humidity. Any tips are greatly appreciated

@casportpony hatches peacocks I believe.
Make sure you check your incubator's temp with a calibrated thermometer.

Yes buying local from a friend. She said she has a very good hatch rate for the last three years so I’m hopeful!

How well can peacocks hold up being confronted by wildlife?

99' is not a good temperature. I incubate at 99.7' F. 55% humidity seems fine.
(P.S. It's not hatching peacocks, it's hatching peachicks. )

Peafowl are sitting ducks for predators at night. During the day they can fly high enough to evade most predators.
