I am currently on day 28 of incubating my goose egg. The egg started peeping last night (day 27) and has been regularly peeping throughout today. Just wondering what i should be expecting next and any tips on what to do to make sure the egg hatches alright. No signs of external pipping yet, also does it mean that my egg has internally pipped because it has started to peep? Any tips and comments will be greatly appreciated!

Eggs can take 12-32 hours to externally pip after the internal one. If you hear peeping then it has internally pipped. From pip to zip it can take a few hours to 12 hours or sometimes more. I'm hatching duck eggs and they are under one of our mamas (Swedish ducks are the best mamas). But there's nothing to worry about, let nature take its course.

Thanks for your reply, good to get some reassurance that the egg is just doing it’s thing and there nothing to worry about : )
