TaysChicks, your dog is beautiful! Such a handsome boy! You've done a phenomenal job being a good, solid leader for him to follow in learning how things will be with your chickens. Good job! How great to see other dogs learn to be mellow around chickens, though I believe genetics plays a large part as well as our leadership.
My cat actually is simply a longhaired mix who, while mellow, actually hunts and eats voles, field mice, etc! He simply understands that our chickens are his family. The weirdest part is that the cat hangs out with the chickens and even dustbathes with them!
