Tips for raising a single duckling?

I don't think peeps was ever that manipulative, she just quacks if she wants something. She can be very fickle sometimes though, occasionally she'll run away whenever we try to take her out of her pen, but when we give up and walk away she'll come running back and quacking "wait I changed my mind!" XD
Buuuuuut, peeps turned 10 weeks old this Monday, and since there's no tail curls, she's officially a girl! Most of her feathers are in. I love it when she flaps her wings and tries to fly, they're so big and pretty~
Here's some Peeps pics for y'all

Quick question, are pekin ducks supposed to molt at 10 or 11 weeks? She's 11 weeks old and shedding feathers like crazy, even when I pet her. It's beginning to make me a bit nervous since she's a lone duck

Oh phew, so it's normal? That's a relief.
They're seriously everywhere though. Not only are they in our yard, but the wind blew a few into the neighbor's yard and a few somehow ended up in the house xD
How long does a molt typically take to finish though? I tried vacuuming up the feathers but the moment I put her back in her pen she sheds a million new feathers.

Get used to it, it's a fact of life when you have a house duck. :p I thought cat hair was bad, but the feathers blow my kitty hair problem out of the water, LOL!

Lol at the least feathers don't stick to me like cat hair or dog hair.
Funny little story about peeps I thought I'd share though:
We have this giant blackberry vine in our backyard, and sometimes when I walk past it (like when I'm grabbing more of her food or more straw) she'll run up to the vine and snatch a berry off of it. Now normally I don't let her eat them too often, but when she does eat one the result is hilarious. It'll explode in her mouth and stain her entire beak and surrounding feathers bright red, and it'll look like she murdered something. Now we call her Peeps the Killer Duck (like the killer rabbit from Monty Python) or Peeps the Ripper
