Rad! Thanks for the feedstore recommendations! I went to the Red Barn feedstore in Tarzana yesterday, and they happened to have some Auracanas and RIRs... but I am not *quite* ready for chicks... plus the girl mentioned that it was too early for them to be getting chicks, and they are just trying to get rid of them and hope they don't die.... didn't make me feel too confident in purchases any of the (admittedly adorable) little dears.

Besides, I am leaning heavily toward Plymouth Rocks...
