TIPS ON HATCHING DUCK EGGS PLEASE

Dear everyone
I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on a successful duck egg hatch? E.g Humidity ideal temp etc... I’ve incubated ducks before but it’s been at least half a year or more since I’ve hatched ducklings through my incubators... so I’ve slowly forgotten everything on top of that I’ve been dry hatching most of my silkie eggs to this day so I’ve forgotten the main things for incubating duck please can anyone help? Any advice would be appreciated greatly!

When I hatched duck eggs I just kept the humidity about the same until lockdown I do for chickens. Then upped it to about 70% and kept my fingers crossed. Just remember ducks take 28 days or more depending on the breed.

Thanks how much do you keep your humidity until lockdown? I’ve been doing dry hatching for my chicken eggs but ducks need the extra humidity I presume ?

Usually around 45% to 50%. I hatched three batches of ducks this year had about a 70% hatch rate. Reason so low is two sets I did I got eggs from Ebay. Not very many were fertile. The last batch I did had about 23 eggs but only 14 hatched. Ducks are a little harder but it sure is fun.
