Tips on hawk protection while free ranging?

I just wanted to know if anyone has any tips on protecting my hens while free ranging. My RIR rooster has attacked a hawk before but it still got my hen a few months later. So I wanted to know if there is something I can do to protect my babies.

When free ranging you have to accept there will be some losses. Good cover like shrubs, and trees can help protect from aerial predators. Even old vehicles, or things like farm machinery can provide good cover. So can multiple roosters for lookouts, but nothing can completely stop predation except keeping them in a secured area.
