Tips on making a hen go broody?

I'm considering moving my Lil' Bit to the screened porch with her own nest and enclosed in a pen. She's the only one of my hens that exhibits semi-broody behavior.

I'm excited to see how your hen does! I hope one of my hens ends up being broody. They are all just starting to lay for the first time. One of my salmon faverolles made herself a nest out of leaves and brush and rolled a rock into and sat there for several days. That was a few weeks before she even started laying eggs.

of course, gritsar! I just went out to check on her and she's still firmly planted in her nest. and she has graced us with one of those huge Super Poops that only a broody hen can do.
