Tired - 6 week old chicks

if they catch any chill at all...it weakens them.

I'd monitor their feeding and get them on vitamins as suggested..
preferably chick vitamins or Poly-vi-sol..

if you opt to use the Sulmet, do exactly as instructed on the bottle..

it doesn't sound like cocci to me yet according to the droppings...but keep close check on the droppings.
check the vents..
check the crops..sometimes they eat the bedding.

Thank you sammi.

My wife thinks that the crop does feel a bit "lumpy" compared to the others. That's why I kept giving the first one with the same symptoms (RIR) olive oil drops. This one (Leghorn), wont open its beak when I handle it and closes his eye until I let it down. And no, I did not squirt oil in her eyes

I hate to give them ALL the Sulmet if not necessary. Would you or anyone else recommend that I not give the Sulmet unless I see a problem with the droppings?

Being roughly 6 weeks old and having about 50% or more feathers, how much longer do they need bedding?

Thanks for all your patience and answers on this.

Oh, I will go to the feed store tomorrow and get vitamins. It just may have been the chill that caused all this.
