tired baby--help

Please help. We have it in this state and it is so tired. Still breathing but I'm worried.

Did you remove the top of the egg, or did the chick unzip it? All chicks are very tired at the effort of pipping and unzipping. If it is too weak to hatch, that usually means that there is some problem with it.

While it is sooo tempting to open the incubator and try to assist, doing so can cause your other unhatched eggs problems. Normal healthy chicks, in an incubator that provides adequate humidity, will hatch on their own without needing assistance.
