Tired of Creeping from CA!

Hi everyone!

I’ve been creeping this site for a while and finally decided to join.

We are an accidental chicken family after DS fell in love with one of his classroom chickens and lo and behold, they needed a new home at the end of the year.

We researched and discussed and decided as a family to take them on and here we are!

It’s a small flock that we have (only 2) as our city tolerates chickens but only so much. One of our birds has started crowing, which is not cool as Roos are a no-go. Neither bird is laying eggs so I can’t even bribe neighbors with fresh eggs!

So, we’re trying to make it work as best as we can!

Most likely you won't see an egg until a bird is about 6 months old, although that varies with breed.
