Title Edit: Duck Feed Nutrition Comparisons

I would like you to see your current feed compared to two all flock feeds and a duck grower feed right next to each other:

Your current feed is almost identical to the formulated DUCK GROWER FEED.
Your current feed is not a problem.

Thanks @KikisGirls! That makes me feel better!

I think I titled this thread incorrectly because basically all I wanted to know was if anyone recommended a set up for separating one feed for my older duckling from the food the younger ducklings are eating since they’re sharing a brooder.

Compare your feed to this:
https://www.nap.edu/read/2114/chapter/7
Duck requirements are on page 42.
That is a good resource, but as we are all focused on protein, I think we should also focus on the other nutrional needs of ducks as shown in this chart. From what I can see an all flock feed would be closer to what ducks need than a chick starter since it it closer to the nutrional requirements for ducks?
What I mean by that is the chick starter listed above does not have lysine or methionine (for example) which is listed in the chart for ducks nutrional requirements.

How funny that this thread has turned into something completely different than intended ... That’s the internet for you!

This is all great information. When it comes to numbers, I really have to print stuff out and spread it out on a table, it’s way too hard for my brain to digest on my little phone screen.

Thank you to everyone who provided great links and food for thought (Ha! Had to slip a little pun in!)
