We purchased our first Chicks in Feb of 2011. We have 6 hens and 2 Bantam roosters from that year. This Thanksgiving a young lady showed up in our yard to make our 7th hen. Over the years we have lost 4 hens 3 of which were given to us from a moving friend. March 13, 2014 we decided to add to the flock with 7 pullets so our grand daughter can watch them grow.
We first looked into BYC 3 years ago and the site was very helpful in getting us started! the Chicks the Coop and the Treat lists.
Hobbies: Gardening and Playing

Happily Married we have 5 wonderful children, a great son in law and the best Grand daughter ever (my opinion).
We also have 3 dogs 2 cats 2 Goats 2 roosters and now 14 Hens.
I am looking forward to being a part of the community here at BYC.
