TN BYC

I've gotten quail from this lady (link below) before, and she always has nice birds. She's known for her chocolate Orpingtons. I stop by when I go to the nice Memmonite farm stand on the same road that has animal sales/swaps the last Saturday of the month. I got my Easter Eggers at the swap and have seen Silkie mixes, Barred Rocks, Red Stars, and lots of regular laying breeds, but don't remember Orpingtons there. They have a little bit of everything, just depending on who brings what. I don't know what area you are in, but these are in Delano. I'm in Hixson and it's about an hour drive there for me.

Thank you. I’m in Madisonville so Delano isn’t too far. I’ll definitely follow this lead!

G’Day from down under Randy :frow Welcome!

Very exciting! I do hope you are able to find some nice feathered friends.

I also hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock when they arrive, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Before I go, you might be interested in downloading this free e-book My First Year With Chickens

Good luck and best wishes!
