TN- Welsummer mixes

I have a cockeral/pullet pair of welummer X buff orpington mix. They are turning into quite the interesting pair. I believe they are 12 weeks old, but I need to go back and check the calendar.
He is crowing (hysterical!) and doing the adolescent mounting thing. Daddy is a HUGE buff orp roo. I expect junior here to take after him.

She isn't laying yet. I am VERY curious as to what her egg will look like. Mama is a welsummer that lays really lovely dark terracotta eggs. Buyer must post egg pics when she starts laying.

I'm thinking $20 for the pair, but make me an offer! Can deliver around Murfreesboro. Will discuss delivery to Nashville or Shelbyville.

Hey Anne, my hens have finally stopped picking on cheeto. first morning i opened the coop. i don't think I ever saw so many pretty yellow feathers, but he does take care of them, now he herds them in the coop at night, I'm just keeping him in the run until he really knows that this is now home. Thanks again we love him, hes great marrie

Yay for Cheeto! I'm so glad he has settled in. He's a good rooster and very protective of his women. Glad he likes his new harem.

It's possible that he is still molting too. All of mine are molting right now. If you keep seeing yellow feathers I'd guess that he's not done yet.

Do you ever get to Shepherdsville KY?? I could drive further south but a couple of hours due to turn around time is all that I could do and $20 is a great price...

I could meet you in Nashville. I also have a tentative deal with another KY BYCer to sell her another roo I have. Perhaps y'all could carpool or work out a deal. It kind of quits being financially sound for me to drive a long way to sell them for so little.
