Friday I had some venison jerky from a deer bagged the first day of the season which was Nov. 6. It was yuuuuummy.

DH didn't go hunting but a neighbor's giving us a quarter of a deer he got this morning

ga deer season started 2 weeks ago!!! i have already killed 3 deer. 2 does for meat and a 6 point buck for cull/meat/ i didnt kill a buck last year and i felt like i wanted to kill one. this will be my 8th deer. i shot a doe sat. because her shoulder was shattered and she was limping. i shot her from 270 yards with a 243 youth model rifle.

it turns out we have a bear on our property now scared me to death when one of our friends was telling us about when he saw it.

1st day.. saw the flicker of a tail and a rear end..... Nothing to shoot at, and to boot it was walking in line of fire towards neighbor's stand so no shot X2
