To clean or not to clean....?

Hi just received some hatching eggs in the mail from someone on BST. Some are kinda dirty, should I wipe 'em with a wet paper towel before they go in the bator? Or just leave 'em alone?

Unless they're REALLY dirty, leave them be.

I know some folks have wiped them gently with a damp paper towel and they hatched just fine.

But, IMO, if they are really dirty, it's better not to put really icky, poop covered eggs in the bator.
