To Clipp chickens wings or not?

My chickens keep getting out. We built an 8 foot tall fence and they are still getting out. My neighbors have to put them back in 3 times a day they said. I think they are getting sick of it. I'm thinking about clipping their wings. Is it humane? How do you do it or do I need a vet to do it

you can do it and it's humane. clip one first which causes them to fly in circles. if that doesn't work then clip the second. I've seen chickens climb a fence with clipped wings. I'm sure they are getting tired of it. Good luck.
