First of all hello! I have been following and referencing many pics from this website since we got our chicks seven weeks ago, but it was time for me to take action:) I am trying to decide gender of my first three chicks. I believe they are easter eggers, though they were supposed to be americaunas. They were straight run. I have two others but they are too young to post still. I would live to have input so we can find good homes for any Roos!

It seems like into each life, some cockerels may fall. You won't be the first to have to rehome surprise roosters. Better luck next time. Some people pay more for "sexed" chicks and can return any mistakes ( roosters) depending on the seller. Straight run purchases just about guarantee all or most will be males.

Oh man I really don't want to hear that. We are very attached to little cabbage. But all eyes seem to agree... Flower is a she... Right?

Well this morning after waiting all this time to post... Cabbage AND MR e cock a doddled at each other multiple times when I let them out:( I really hate to see little sweet cabbagey go, but we would have grumpy neighbors in one week flat! Oh the sorrow!
