I have a question. When Harvey came through our area after hitting Texas my husband said the Turkeys were very wet cold and miserable. I have an inside the house hospital set up all the time. Normally we let them out of the coop to free range. We are considering bringing as many Turkeys and Ducks in that we can. It is supposed to start raining around Dinner time here and Wensday we get hit by Irma. So we are looking at severe weather from Today through Saturday afternoon. Are we being over protective and spoiling them? Should we just leave them cooped up that many days? Our coop is built into my son's playhouse. The first floor is the coop the second is the play house. They only have one wooden wall the rest is chickenwire with green bean vines. We are going to board it up for winter. All but two of my Turkeys are rescued and bald. So I am worried about 6 days of high winds and rain.

If you've got the space, I'd bring them in. Mine have a covered shelter outside to keep them dry.
