To Crow or Not to Crow? 5 weeks

I know it's early, but I'm dying to play the Guess That Sex/Breed Game! I have 16 contestants at 5 weeks old of various breeds. Winner might get chicken dinner!
I may have my breeds mixed up. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Update. I spent about an hour this morning watching their behavior. 2, 3, 6, 12, 16 were all doing the chest bump challenge. The Houdan does this a lot. They also made a new sound when they spotted a bird in a tree where they all froze and went quiet. Their combs are a lot more pink in natural light.

1. Olive Egger. Blend of F2 hen and Birchen Maran roo. I hatched 2 olive eggs. Breeder said they are supposed to have fluffy feet. So far none do. Did they get the 25% "other" genes?

2. Other Olive Egger

3 and 4. Speckled Sussex?

5, 6, 7 Lavender Orpingtons

8. Svart Hona

9 and 10. Crevoceurs. Really tough to get good headshots.

11. BLR Wyandotte

12. Houdan

13 and 14. Russian Orloff?

15 and 16. Buff Orpingtons

I would say they are all pullets except for 3, 13, and maybe 16. Could be wrong though, and it is on the early side.

It's too early for most of them, especially the crested ones. Here's what I can say so far:

Picture 4- the speckled Sussex on the left is a cockerel.

The Svart Hona is looking like a possible cockerel.

16 is the biggest out of the whole group. First to do everything. Pretty certain that's a roo. Agree with 3. Why 13?

I agree. Maybe 16. Pretty sure 3 is a cockerel. I also have the same question: Why 13? All I see is a very yellow comb and more feathers than the other one of the same breed. 6 looks a bit iffy. Still a bit young.

At this young age, obvious males are 3 (speckled sussex) and 16 (buff orpington). Single combed breeds and early developers. Others can still end up being male, just too early to tell. Nice flock of youngsters you have there. All chicks chest bump by the way, not just the boys.

Thanks. I wanted a nice mixed flock to try out different breeds. I got 2 of each breed and 4 LO. 16 of 22 hatched. Playing the odds for 50% hens. So far looking good.

The sussex were the easier to sex. Roo in my pic has a big red comb now. You have a beautiful pullet. I'll attach some updated photos this weekend.
