To Eat or Not to Eat? Silkies

They taste like chicken!

I was just talking to my dad in Iowa and he said the Amish there are making a bundle selling some sort of black-skinned chickens to the Hmong community in the Twin Cities. I assume those are silkies he's talking about.

THAT looks awesome!!! Grow some of those white, purple and red carrots next time, and maybe some blue potatoes!! Put it all in the soup! Wouldn't that be awesome??

LOL. You could have left out the baby pic.. I thought "Aww.. that must be the "cuddler".." and then the pictures progressed.. "Oh.. I guess not.." The food looked delicious.. but the image of the baby picture had been burned into my brain by then.. It made me feel guilty when I drooled over the food.. LOL

Got ya. The baby is Party, My partridge silkie who lives in my kitchen right now.
That pic is only a few days old. She(or he) is fine. The black silkie was the soup bird.
